Regency Group collaborates with one of the most prestigious shools of music in Florence, The accademy of San Felice.
This Accademy starts its activity in 1991.
From the beginnig this accademy specializes on the education to Music at every level. Its activity always rose as time went by, and from a start mostly based on classical music, the school opened up also to difference and more modern types of music, with the opening of new courses for modern guitar and electric guitar, modern piano, electric bass and modern singing courses.
The experience of the first contact with a pubblic is very important, therefore the accademy frequentrly organizes concerts opened to the general pubblic. During the year there are three foundamental concerdt ( December, Februry and April ), with the partecipation of soloist intruments or singers, or small groups of chamber music, while the final concert in June has a more original character.
In 2006 the accademy was part of the Festa delle Scuole di Musica ( Feast of the most important schooles of Music ) organized by the governament of Florence, which takes place in the streest ands squares of the city, and was also part of the Feast of Music, a singing concert organized in the San Lorenzo Basilica.
Beside the didactic activities of the Accademy, some concerts and festivals are organized.
This year saw the 8th edition of the Internations Festival of European young orchestras held in Firenze in summer, while for Easter takes place the week of Holy Music From the World, that this year saw the 4th edition and to which many important musicians take part.
