Soprano Simona Bertini
Studies:
Simona was born in Empoli (Florence), studies acting ( with Orazio Costa), dance and violin. After the high school she gets a degree in Singing at the Conservatoy Cherubini in Florence, studying with Vera Magrini and Liliana Poli.
She attended many courses to perfection her voice and stage with: M. Oliviero, A.Cerquetti, R.Celletti, C.Desderi, R.Scotto e G.Cecchele ( stil now her major teacher ). She gets a degree with honors at the Verdiana Accademy of the Toscanini Foundation, in Busseto, where she studies, among many others, with Maestro Bergonzi.
Competitions:
She has been one of the fist three winners of many international competitions ( Puccini, Mascagni, As.Li.Co., Spoleto Corradetti ), and wins the Primascrittura’89 and Cascinalirica’90. In 97 wins the A.Gi.Mus., the William Walton, and is one of the first two in London at the competition for young voices in Coven Garden. In 2000 is the only Italian at the competition Voci Verdiane, to the final perfomrance in Busseto, which she wins the turneè in Japan.
Professional activity:
After a short xperience in the Operetta ( she is the protagonist in "La danza delle libellule" by Lehar with S.Massimini, of which Ricordi label takes care of recording in video and Cd ), and in 91 debuts in Teatro Verdi in Trieste as female protagonist in the satiric "Boccacio" of Von Suppè, she returnes back to Trieste in 92 for the Prima italian execution "Il compleanno della Infanta" of Zemlinsky.
In the years to follow ( between ‘93 and 2001 ) she sings as protagonist in The Boheme ( tourneè in Italy and Spain ), Falstaff ( Island of Ischia ), Cavalleria Rusticana ( Rome: theatre Manzoni, Sassari:Theatre Verdi, Festival di Torre del Lago, opening of Opera theatre in Ribeirao in Egypt, S.Paolo: Brasil ), Don Giovanni( "D’Elvira", GreekTheatre:Rome, Alesandrina in Egypt, Cairo Opera House ), Norma ( Bassano Opera Festival; Musikhalle:Amburg ), Requiem by Verdi (Amsterdam:Concertgebouw; Edmonton,; Ankara), Enfant Prodigue by Debussy (Siena:Abbazia di S.Galgano), Così fan tutte ("Dorabella", Jesi:teatro Pergolesi), Forza del destino (Busseto, centenario verdiano), Don Carlo (Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, Brescia, Rovigo), and in all these perfomrmances she found very positive responces both by the phubblic and by the critcs.
Beside these important perfomreances she performs in 99 in the new year’s eve concert in Ascoli Piceno, directed by A. Frey, pupil or L. Bernstein; in 2000 she holds a concert for new years in Montecarlo in a recital for Prince Albert; in 2001, for the centenario verdiano, beside the "forza del destino" in Busseto and in D.Carlo, she represents Italy in the Tokyo Festrival Verdian Voices in Yamagata.
She was protagonist in Pisa of the Prima modern execution of the oratory of Il Martirio di S.Valentino by Puccini senior, and the Prima of Miserere by Pacini for the Concerti Vaticani.
In 2002 she debuts with Tosca in Cairo Opera House and again Tosca in December in Teatro Giordano in Foggia. In the same year she sings lo Stabat Mater by Rossini in Sigapore with the Singapore Simphony Orchestra, and the Vivaldi one in Florence with the Floretine chamber orchestra directed by Liliefors.
In 2003 she debuts with Aida in Corea ( Seoul Arts Center ); than she performs this also in the Cairo Opera House. In the same year she debuts with Andrea Chenier ( in concert in Florence Faenza and Trento ), M. Butterfly ( in Siena), and Trovatore ( Gand, Blelgium ). Than she goes on a turneè with Cavalleria Rusticana in Lisboa.
In 2004 she is protagonist of an important edition or D.Carlo in Zagabria beside P.Burchuladze; than she debuts with Otello in Canada ( Hamilton, Dir. Lipton) and Ballo in Maschera in Theatre Municipal in Rio de Janeiro; moreover she is present at the opening of the Verdian Festival in Praha, with Trovatore and she is female protagonist, in Prima in Europe, in the Oratory of St.Stanislaus in Liszt for the Festival Wratislavia Cantants of Wroclaw ( Polonia. Moreover she is part of the Prima of Giuseppina Verdi as soprano protagonist and actress, with a text or Dacia Maraini in Busseto for the Toscanini Foundation.
In 2005, again for the foundation Toscanini, she is the soloist voice in Piacenza in the ballet Maria stuarda ultima notte, with Carla Fracci, arranged by the Opera di Roma. In April she sings as Giulietta in Racconti di Hiffmann in Ottawa. The variety of her splendid voice allows her also the debut in the Carnagy Hall in New York, in Mozart Requiem.
In November she debuts with large success in Manon Lescaut in Esse, and than again is Giulietta in Racconti di Hoffmann in Graz.
Awards
In Florence she was awarded with the Fiorino d'oro for her international musical activity, to which we must add the many awards she receives also in the lecterature field, such as, in '97, the first award in the international competition "Massimo Troisi": a poem for cinema, which brings her the name of Senator of the international accademy Medicea.

Tenore Lorenzo Cecchele
Son of art, studies with his father, the great tenor Gianfranco Cecchele, he is at the mometn able to sing a full repertoireof lyric tenor.
He has two degrees with honours in singing, one form the musical institut Manzato in Trevico, and on at the Singing Accademy Katia Ricciarelli in Mantova.
He sang in many prestigious concerts in Italy and outside Italy; in the Public theatre in Treviso he sang L’arca di Noe by Britten; he sang a selection of Traviata and M.Butterfly in Toulouse; he sang the Prima worldly of Flilemone and Bauci by Gounoud in the Coccia theatre in Novara; he executes also M. Butterfly and Traviata in the Pollini Audiutoriom in Padoa, H sang in Prima worldly the Perrot au cinema by Leoncavallo in the Verdi Theatre of Montecatini, in the Manzoni Theatre in Pistoi and in the Fetival of Locarno; he sang Traviata in the Tearo Gentile of Fabriano; Nabucco was executed in the Verdi Theatre or Sassari. He also sung on RaiUno in Eurovision, in the show Stelle dell’estate presented by Pippo Baudo, obtaining the highest points.
He also performed in the Tv in the charity show 30 ore per la vita, prosented by Lorella Cuccarini and Marco Columbro, on Mediaset.
In ’98 he was part of a night gala for Prince Alber of Monaco in the Royal Hall of the Hotel De Paris in Montecarlo. Recently he was choosen by the famous movie director M.Monicelli for a small prt in his new movie Come quando fuori piove.
Lately he sung in the program Critianità on Rai-Sat International, with a direct link to th vatican for the Pope’s Angelus.
